Tareas y trabajos de clase

SECOND TERM

October 12:
Level A, B & C: Copy: Things I love about Britain page 2 exercises 3A a and b

October 5 (classwork):
Level A, B & C: Make five sentences about you using verbs from copy, Things I love about Britain
Level C: Write a text introducing yourself. Model: Student's book page 34.

September 14:
Level A & B: Page 42. Look at the pictures and complete exercise 2.
Level C: Page 43 exercise 5 (Form the questions in writing and answer them with the text and pictures from page 42 exercise 2).

August 24:
Level A, B & C: Page 34 exercise 2 (READ and Complete)

August 17:
Level A: p. 34 exercise 4 (Vocabulary - match)
Level B: Make sentences about you using the phrases on p. 34 exercise 4. Example: "I have five siblings (three brothers and two sisters)"
Level C: Write a text like Colin's on page 34 ABOUT YOU. Example: "Hello! My name is Carola Escolar. I am from..."

FIRST TERM

June 15: homework: study for the test and do old homework. Get the class material (at Devoto Copy) if you don't have it yet.

June 15: classwork: Write your partners' answers to questions on page 35 ex 6.

June 8: classworkMake 3 affirmative sentences and 3 negative sentences about you. Example: page 32 exercise 1 and page 33 exercise 3.

Answer these questions about the text on page 34:
1) What is Colin's profession?
2) Does he like it?
3) Is he from London?
4) What languages does he speak?

June 1: classworkFind 5 verbs, 5 nouns, 2 adjectives and 2 pronouns in your vocabulary photocopy.

May 11: Book Fair photocopy (only for people who went to the book fair)

May 4, homework: Fotocopia "Listen to a song", punto D. La canción: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63JsDcXD3mg

May 4, classwork: Make flashcards. Group C: your flashcards are from the poem "Who are we?" and the song "Cada vez más yankis". Ask Lucila for the flashcards she did in class.

April 27, homework: Complete Vocabulary Unit 1

April 27, classwork: Listen to a song copy. A and B.

April 20 - Escribir sobre ustedes: "Who are you?" en base al poema de Benjamin Zephaniah visto en clase: hacer un escrito en inglés de entre 15 a 50 palabras respondiendo a la pregunta "Who are you?" Pueden hablar de lo que quieran, pero deben recurrir a algunos adjetivos que sientan que los identifiquen (o no, y así usan la forma negativa de "am"), como en el poema que vimos la clase pasada: "Who are we?"

April 13 - Postear en el grupo de Facebook un artículo de un tema de su interés en inglés. Para conseguir dicho artículo pueden buscar el tema en Google junto con el nombre de un diario/medio de habla inglesa (The New York Times, Huffington Post, The Guardian, BBC)

April 6 - Página 32, ejercicio 1 de la unidad 5 del libro de clase (el material se encuentra en la solapa "Libros").

March 23 - Escribir una anécdota propia o de alguien que conozcan sobre el golpe del '76 que se conmemora todos los años el 24 de marzo.
